The Scarecrow JunKAction 24th and 25th June
At South Norwood Recreation Ground, SE25 6TG.
Part of the Mayor of London Weekend 24th and 25th of June at the South Norwood Recreation Ground SE25 6TG, the Scare Crow JunKAction event aims to engage everyone who cares about environmental issues engaging in a fun and creative activity, promoting social awareness and artistic expression. On the 24th of June, from 11:00 to 2:00 pm children and their families will have the opportunity to engage in a litter-picking session at the Recreation Ground collecting material that will be used on the 25th of June ( the following day) into unique scarecrows. Norwood JunkAction will provide all the litter-picking tools and additionally, a variety of art supplies and tools to support their artistic endeavours and refreshment.
This event is open to people of all ages, abilities and disability. Whether you are an artist or simply have an interest in exploring your creativity, you are welcome to participate. The event will be supervised by our trained staff members who will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
We kindly request you to RSVP by the 21st of June for the litter picker, unless you can bring your own.
Alternatively, you can show up on the 25th for the art-making process between 11 am to 5 pm.
