Socca Cheta is a space formerly used by The Croydon United Domino’s club and currently part of the 5 buildings identified for renovation, in the South Norwood Community Economic Development Plan. A consortium of local community groups comprising of Croydon United Dominoes club, South Norwood Community Kitchen, Croydon BME Forum, Screen25 and The Association of Jamaicans UK were formed to oversee its renovation while ensuring that the redesign of the hub was accessible and met the needs of the local community.
Currently on plan to complete by winter of 2021, this is a space eagerly waited for by the South Norwood community.
